WHAT ARE THE ÍKAROS?

The Ikaros are simply songs of the shamans of the Amazon, they usually sing them in ayahuasca ceremonies and similar ones like San Pedro (Wachuma).

These songs usually compose them in the moments of the dizziness, they say that these musics help you to have a more mystical experience than other music.

These phonic elements are called spiritual or shamanic music and are known as the Íkaros, come from the native tribes of the Amazon basin, today the Íkaros of the towns Shipibo Konibo Xetebo is declared as patrimony of the nation.
